This lovely couple bought a four year old property in Oakridge, a recently built estate in Milton Keynes, but didn’t like the bathrooms so they asked us to re-fit them to their own design.
This extensive project involved moving internal walls to accommodate an extra large and luxurious shower tray with a premium mixer shower and shower glass. We also built the basin unit and fully tiled it, placing the basin on the top and then added a wall mounted toilet, built-in storage, flower pot space and wall mounted radiator.
One of the most challenging parts of the project, but visually outstanding, was creating mirrors: the one on the left hand side is a standard bathroom mirror cabinet with touch sensor at the bottom; on the right hand side is just a mirror that was made to measure and fitted perfectly to the last millimetre to make it look like another cabinet.

Having completed the master bathroom renovation we immediately started working on the guest bathroom. We began by increasing the size of the bathroom by making the built-in wardrobe in the bedroom narrower. We supplied and then fitted the bath to replace the old one, fitted an over-bath shower, re-plumbed the room to accommodate the new toilet and basin and finally partially tiled the walls and fully tiled the floor.

Having been impressed by the standard of our work, our customer started asking us to carry out many other smaller projects, most of which we did at the same time as we worked on the master and guest bathrooms.
One of the largest extra projects was to remove the wall separating two rooms on the ground floor to create one large living room. We then tiled the long wall in the living room using quartz tiles and made custom furniture to fit it using our customer’s own design and taking particular care to include easy access to the TV and all parts of the new furniture, which was not that easy to achieve at some stages. We have also built a custom cloakroom basin unit with a wall mounted mixer tap.
